Three releases in and Italy’s Fresh Cream Records is already going from strength to strength. After the recent success of Thomas De Lorenzo’s “In My Heart” (a top 40 charter on Beatport), label don Marco Rea takes his turn with a new collaborative single that proclaims “Love’s The Greatest Power.” Marco’s remixes on the previous Fresh Cream singles garnered praise and dance floor heat, teeing him up nicely for his own featured single. Here he’s joined by frequent co-conspirator RU.DiJ in the studio along with Rome-based club vocalist Kevin Delite. The result is “Love’s the Greatest Power,” a silky and emotive house music track with an instantly catchy bass line, deep piano stabs, and bouncy rhythms. The track’s also got a touch of a Balearic house feel, just in time for the approaching summer months. For the more underground, after-hours moments comes the RMX, taking things in a darker and slightly more pumping direction. Extra synths by Frankie Mancuso fill in the sparse groove, with processed vocals and a foreboding airiness adding to an intriguing vibe that should grab hold of the nightclub.
