This Haitian-American, New Jersey native is no mere newcomer with songwriting and vocal credits for reggaeton platinum act Baby Ranks and on St. Joe Louis’ recent single “Blood Sunday.” Steeve teamed up with producer J’Shon Trower at the TMG Records studio for a soulful, vocal house production titled “Feel Alive.” With a subtle afro-beat influence and Steeve’s signature soulful layover this deep cut successfully convey’s the song’s message to “always reach for the golden moment of feeling alive.” Breezy synth pads and gentle piano melodies add to the track’s flavor making it a special late-night offering. J’shon himself continues to redefine the house sound of New Jersey with his Broken Beat Mix, pulling “Feel Alive” into deeper, more exotic territories.
