Leo Portela - Come Around (Transport Recordings)

Transport Recordings welcomes back Argentinian producer Leo Portela for a deep house and nu-disco infused release. “Come Around" is an unmistakably bass line driven single, making use of a distorted synth with some fine tuning throughout. Energetic chord progressions, pitched up arpeggiations, and vocoded vocals all fit the track like a glove. Portela’s 2nd Round Mix is similar, but with a more defined sense of space. On remix duties, rising San Francisco talent Jarred Gallo trades in the ’80s appeal for a more progressive, piano-based take on his Underground Mix and provides a vocal-less alternative with his own 2nd Round Mix. Yet another great release from the Transport camp!
