Myles Bigelow feat. Aileen De La Cruz - Music Feels So Good (Deep Culture Music)

Vancouver-based percussionist and producer Myles Bigelow has teamed up with vocalist Aileen De La Cruz to create the timeless, soulful, rhythmic delight “Music Feels So Good” for Deep Culture Music. Not your usual house music track, Myles approximated the street rhythms of Cuba with a GuanGuanCo rhythm as a tribute to the time he spent in Cuba studying percussion. Aileen accompanies this with a beautiful vocal arrangement expressing the emotions and energy that she feels in quality soulful house music. Another highlight of the cut is an acoustic guitar riff laid down by flamenco guitarist Doug Towle, adding to its deep and exotic flavor. For the single’s quintet of top notch remixes Deep Culture Music strove to reach around the globe. Chilean born Luis Machuca, who worked with Julius Papp on the recent single “Believe,” lays out a melodic and dubby piece with a retro funk bass line, lush melodies, and atmospheric vocal riffs. The New York-based Christian Scott (Nervous, Soundmen On Wax) shares an east coast vibe and drives the groove with a superb mixture of tech-house, breakbeat, funk. South African producer Kadasma (Kadasma Records, Deeper Shades Recordings) throws down a thick deep house vibe in his version, complete with digital attitude made to light dance floors up. Also from South Africa is H Justini (Rythmic Music, Kadasma Records) who layers some cinematic elements on top of an infectious bouncy house beat. Finally, Myles Bigelow takes another stab at the track creating a fresh version that’s deep and moody. This is global fusion house music, direct to the dance floor from Deep Culture Music.
