Gustavo Fk & Tropicall - I Have The Bass (Tree Sixty One)

With a focus on traditional house music and an uplifting attitude, Tree Sixty One is an exciting imprint founded by Gustavo Fk, a Brazilian producer relocated in Barcelona. In just its first year, Tree Sixty One's refreshing sound captured attention and plays from the likes of Kerri Chandler, Danny Krivit, and Miguel Migs, and Gustavo Fk's album New Perspective was nominated for Best Electronic Music Album in the Brazilian Music Awards. Now Gustavo Fk has collaborated with Brazil DJ duo Tropicall for the deliriously floor-primed single "I Have The Bass", the latest release on Tree Sixty One. The original has all the elements of a high-charged nightclub staple: a definite old school flavor, rousing vocal hooks, prominent garage-tinged bass lines, a solid rhythm track, and even some live 'scratches' to get the crowd motivated. Each of the collaborators then supply their own remixes; Gustavo Fk strips things back for a more underground, late night feel while Tropicall amp the energy a bit, giving the cut a classic influence and a bit of that Brazilian house touch. Proper peak time house music vibes in full effect!
