Born Nándor Kürtössy in northern Hungary, Kovacs continues the adventurous trajectory established in Mirror World and Self Isolation, yet here he swims deeper into uncharted waters. The album creates moments where jazz improvisation meets footwork rhythms in surprising configurations, with eerie cinematic moods floating above driving beats.
The collaborative spirit shines through performances from guitarist Márton Sütő and producer yibai, whose contributions add distinctive colors to Kovacs' already vibrant palette.
