DJ MFR & Andi Lone - Changes (Transport Recordings)

San Francisco's DJ MFR has teamed up with Italian vocalist Andi Lone for a multi-lingual house music treat, "Changes". Released by MFR's long-standing Transport Recordings, "Changes" delivers a sparkling arrangement of piano chords and floating synth pads over a groovy four-on-the-floor rhythm. Andi Lone's sensual vocals feature a spoken verse in Italian and a sung chorus in English, adding to the exotic vibe of this moving track. Rome-based producer and regular Transport contributor Devid Morrison provides a spacious deep house remix tailor-made for late club nights. Reverb-drenched percussion and a slinky rhythmic backbone perfectly compliment Andi's echoed vocal phrases. Morrison then reveals a stripped-back dub which showcases the underground drive of his production. Also on hand for a remix is renowned DJ / producer Vincent Kwok who creates a smooth and sophisticated re-interpretation of "Changes". Kwok adds a warm low end and lovely synth melodies to act as compliments to Andi Lone's catchy chorus. This one will bring smiles to faces on the dance floor as it inspires the bodies to move.

Vincent Kwok - Tres EP (Transport Recordings)

Vincent Kwok returns to San Francisco's Transport Recordings for a trio of delectable house music treats, collected under the banner of the Tres EP. With recent cuts on SP Recordings, Double Cheese Records, and Soulsupplement Records – as well as his continuing work with DJ MFR's Transport imoprint – Vincent Kwok has been consistently providing dance floors with his warm and soulful house music sound for over a decade. The EP launches with "Tres", a potent mix of big, staccato chords, emotive vocal hits, classic organ bass, and uplifting vibes galore. This is followed by "Streets Coming Up" which is a deeper take on Kwok's style. Gentle, swirling pads, a percussive synth melody, and more well-placed vocal phrases make for a beautifully dreamy after-hours moment. Vincent Kwok - Afrique (Transport Recordings)

San Francisco’s Transport Recordings is proud to present the latest from Vincent Kwok, the ambitious and exotic house music single “Afrique.” Blending the west coast’s deep house sound with African-inspired rhythms and instrumentation, Vincent has created a hypnotic number that swells and builds with layers of melody and flowing chords. The original cut is pure Balearic house bliss, sure to please Vincent’s fans as well as win many new ones. There’s also Vincent Kwok’s Deep Trip which takes “Afrique” into more solid deep house territory with its grooving bass line, distant saxophone melody, and echoing pads over the steady four-on-the-floor. Transport’s own DJ MFR is also on hand for his reinterpretation of “Afrique,” lending a production that is appealingly heavy on the tribal percussion while still retaining Vincent’s melodic base. MFR has supplied a Beats version, as well, giving the DJ a chance to work with the remix’s intricate percussion. Undoubtedly it’s another surefire winner from Vincent Kwok and Transport Recordings.

Master Kev - “Nice track and remixes from Vincent Kwok and DJ MFR. Supporting.”

Vincent Kwok - Aura (Transport Recordings)

Transport Recordings presents the latest heavy-weight nightclub stomper from Vincent Kwok, the prolific DJ producer based in San Francisco (via Perth, Australia) who is also proprietor of Eight-Fifteen Recordings and partner in New Mondo with Transport’s DJ MFR. “Aura” is indeed a scintillating house music track, vibrating and pulsing with dance floor energy as its layer of melodic synth pads build over a solid four-on-the-floor groove. This is peak time business, blending elements of San Francisco deep house flavors with a more global house music feel … a classic example of the Transport modus operandi. Vincent’s own It Goes Around Mix goes for a more subdued, bass-led feel with hypnotic arpeggiations and the chords truncated to punchy stabs. It’s certainly the flip side to the original “Aura,” and equally effective in late night dance floor affairs. Here’s another winner from Transport Recordings and Vincent Kwok.

Chuck Love - “Love Transport and Vincent! These will go with me on my Australian tour.”
Abicah Soul - “I like the feel of these tracks … supporting.”
Marques Wyatt - “Tight!”
Graeme Park - “Love it, baby!”
Leo Portela - “It’s so good to hear the music of Vincent Kwok again. Always excellent.”
Hippie Torrales - “Massive tune.”
