Thomas Blondet feat Ammoye - Soulmate Remixed (Rhythm & Culture Music)

Rhythm & Culture Music is proud to announce its latest release, featuring remixes of "Soulmate," the captivating collaboration between Thomas Blondet and Ammoye. These remixed tracks showcase the fusion of these talents and offer a fresh take on the original composition.

The centerpiece of this release is the Deeper Mix by Thomas Blondet, a remarkable deep soulful vocal version that immerses listeners in a rich and emotive musical experience. With intricate layers of sound and an expertly crafted arrangement, this mix effortlessly transports the listener into the depths of the underground scene. Thomas Blondet's meticulous production skills shine through, ensuring that every note and rhythm aligns perfectly, delivering an irresistible groove.

Further enhancing the release are remixes by Lee Graves. The producer injects his unique touch to create a proper classic house music remix. Drawing from his extensive knowledge and appreciation of the genre, Lee Graves reinvents "Soulmate" with a timeless feel, paying homage to the roots of house music while infusing it with contemporary energy. The result is a version that seamlessly combines nostalgic elements with a fresh and vibrant sound, destined to enthrall dancefloors.

In addition to the Deeper Mix and Lee Graves' remix, this release also includes the Dub versions of both. These dub mixes strip away the vocals, focusing on the infectious beats, melodies, and hypnotic textures that form the backbone of the tracks. These dubs provide an alternative perspective on the remixes, offering an instrumental-leaning experience that allows listeners to fully appreciate the intricacies of the production.

With these remixes of "Soulmate," Rhythm & Culture Music continues to push boundaries and showcase the best of underground music. This release is a testament to the talent and vision of both Thomas Blondet and Ammoye, as well as the remixing prowess of Lee Graves. Whether you're a fan of deep soulful house or classic house music or simply looking for tracks that will make you move, this pack promises to deliver an immersive and unforgettable musical journey.

All Good Funk Alliance - Let's Execute (Super Hi-Fi Recordings)

The dynamic duo is back! All Good Funk Alliance return to Super Hi-Fi Recordings with Let’s Execute, a four-song EP filled to the brim with prime time funkiness. The Alliance — comprised of Frank Cueto and Rusty Belicek — have delivered their brand of tightly produced electronic jams for over 20 years and Let’s Execute is another essential piece in their funky equation.

The title track sets things off with potent mid-tempo breakbeats and silky synth action. Enter the formidable voice of Big Stuff whose Big Daddy Kane-style flow connects the old and new schools. Paying homage to their DC-locale, the Funk Alliance next deliver “Control Your Roll” which is anchored in swinging go-go style rhythms. Black Masala adds some serious horns, creating a cool call-and-response with the synth lines and the overall groove. Vocalists Heidi Martin and the late Mustafa Akbar join the Alliance on “To The People,” a soulful cut with an uplifting, positive message — much needed in these times. The more up-tempo, four-on-the-floor “That Chord” closes out the EP, ending things on a stylish rush-to-the-dancefloor tip. Top jams successfully executed!

Steve / Fort Knox Five (Fort Knox Recordings) – “Top shelf funky tunes on this EP my brothers. ‘Let's execute’ will be lighting up dance floors in my sets, and ‘To the People’ captures Mustafa's soulful vocals perfectly.”

All Good Funk Alliance - Varied Funk (Super Hi-Fi Recordings)

The All Good Funk Alliance drop a new EP featuring four different styles of funky business for their Super Hi-Fi label. Made up of Frank Cueto and Rusty Belicek, the All Good Funk Alliance has opened up for James Brown, DJ'ed all around the world, and consistently appeared on the Breakspoll Top 50 list. In other words, these guys are no strangers to the funk.

Varied Funk kicks off with “Make It Go-Go” featuring Big Tony of Trouble Funk, the classic Washington, DC, combo famous for popularizing its city's celebrated 'go-go' sound. The track has that classic go-go flavor, but its been updated for the 21st century. "Make It Go-Go" is full of clanking percussion, horn blasts, and funky synths, making for a dope mid-tempo jam. “Do Work”, featuring vocalist Mustafa Akbar of dancehall funk band Nappy Riddem, follows with a Motown vibe, but freshly tinted for today in a Mayer Hawthorne-meets-Mark Ronson way. It provides for an extremely catchy sing-a-long number. In classic AFGA style, “Funk This Jam” features Soul Suit in another funky, mid-tempo track that feels like something that would have made it onto the duo's Funk Weapons imprint back in the day. It's got call and response vocals and insane breakdowns. Finally, “On-Off Boogie” delivers a nu-disco funk jam with some squawky talk box, funky beats, and really intricate synth work. It leans more towards AGFA's “boogie funk” style and rounds out this EP perfectly.
